In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), Aime Energie is committed to protecting its users' privacy.
RESUMOT is designed according to the principle of privacy by design. All processing (summarization, OCR, text analysis, generation of study cards and quizzes) is carried out directly on your device, without transmission to remote servers.
Your documents, scanned texts and results are never sent to Aime Energie or to any third parties during normal App operation.
RESUMOT's summarization and analysis features rely on Apple Foundation Models, Apple's on-device large language model framework (iOS 18.1+). This processing occurs entirely on your device. Apple Foundation Models does not transmit your content to any external server or cloud AI service.
No document, text, or audio data is ever sent to a third-party AI service. When Apple Foundation Models is unavailable (older devices or iOS versions), the App falls back to an on-device NLP engine — also fully local.
For audio transcription, RESUMOT uses SFSpeechRecognizer (Apple's speech recognition framework) configured for on-device recognition only. No audio is transmitted to Apple's servers.

The App requests access to your camera solely for the document scanning feature. Captured images are processed locally and are never transmitted to remote servers. You can revoke this access at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Camera.
The App requests write access to your Photo Library only when you choose to save a JPG export to it. No existing photos are read or transmitted. You can revoke this access via iOS Settings > Privacy > Photos.
The App requests access to the microphone and iOS speech recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer) only when you use the audio recording feature. Transcription and voice analysis are performed entirely on-device — no audio file or transcription is transmitted to remote servers. You can revoke these permissions at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Microphone and iOS Settings > Privacy > Speech Recognition.
Pro Plan users may enable iCloud sync. In that case:
Financial transactions (RESUMOT Pro subscription) are handled exclusively by Apple Inc. via the App Store's in-app purchase system. Aime Energie does not collect, store or process any banking or payment data.
Information about your subscription (active/inactive status, renewal date) is accessible to Aime Energie via StoreKit 2 in anonymized form, solely to verify Pro Plan access rights.
The RESUMOT App does not use any cookies, trackers or analytics tools in its current version. No third-party tracking SDK (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) is integrated into the App.
Aime Energie does not sell, rent or transfer any personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data. For Pro Plan users with iCloud enabled, iCloud data can be deleted via iOS Settings > Your Name > iCloud > Manage Storage > RESUMOT.

The RESUMOT App is not specifically intended for children under the age of 13. In accordance with Apple's regulations, the App is classified accordingly on the App Store. Aime Energie does not knowingly collect personal data relating to children under 13.
Data stored locally on your device is not subject to any transfer. Data processed through Apple (in-app purchases, iCloud) may be handled by Apple Inc. in the United States, under the contractual safeguards provided by Apple (standard contractual clauses, Privacy Shield successor).
Aime Energie reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy. Any material changes will be notified to the user via an App update or an in-app notification. The current version can be consulted at any time from the App Settings.
